All of the Broadstairs Water Gala activities take place on Viking Bay and the surrounding Victoria Gardens an Promenade CT10 1AN

Driving & Parking

Parking is available throughout the town on the streets and car parks on the near the front and off the High Street. Parking can be at a premium so you could try the recently re-opened Vere Road Car and Coach Park CT10 1JF where there is space for 12 coaches and 42 cars as well as disabled parking bays and public toilets. Failing that then the train station car park offers over 100 spaces and is less than a 10 minute walk from Viking Bay.

The Thanet Loop (link here) runs every 10 minutes and the closest bus stops are on Queens Road, less than 5 minutes from the seafront.

South Eastern Trains (link here) run two services in and out of Broadstairs, the standard North Kent line and the High Speed line into Kings Cross St. Pancras. The train station is less than a 10 minute walk from Viking Bay straight down the High Street so that you can stock up on goodies for the beach on the way down.

Volunteers Required

Both Broadstairs Water Gala and Broadstairs Fireworks are always on the lookout for volunteers to help out so we are able to keep putting on these free community events. If you can spare a little bit of time to help out at any of these events, please contact our Volunteers Co-ordinator, Roy Irving via email or via our Facebook page.

Thanks to our sponsors, without whom many of our activities would not be possible.
